Research funding by the DO-G

The German Ornithologists’ Society (DO-G) grants its members financial support for fixed-term,
self-contained ornithological research projects. The support of research projects that aim at developing a framework for conservation as well as those of junior members and members outside universities and research institutions is of particular importance.

Besides the funding of complete research projects we also offer analytical support. This special tool of the DO-G research funding supports collaborations for the preparation of data sets up to publication. DO-G members can apply for financial support for analysing already collected data sets and for the preparation of manuscripts.
