SIG Goose Ecology

At regular meetings the SIG concerns itself with topical themes from international and national goose research. In addition, the SIG states its scientifically based position on these topical themes in the form of resolutions, specialist articles and public appearances. The SIG meetings serve to present and discuss new research  findings, and also of course provide a forum for many active specialists to present new projects and to forge common plans for the future.

Meetings

The SIG (formerly PG), which exists since 1994 within the DO-G, holds specialist conferences at regular intervals where the results of on-going projects are presented. In addition they serve to provide a platform for exchanges of views and the development of common projects among voluntary and professional water bird researchers.

The German pages provide up to date information on planned meetings and events.
