Conferences for Young Researchers

The DOG brings together young ornithologists from German-speaking countries and fosters connections to professional research. Its goal is to promote exchange, networking, and mutual support.

At the conferences for young researchers, participants can present their projects, receive feedback, establish contacts with experienced researchers, and gain insights into current ornithological work both in Germany and abroad.

The conference is typically held every two to three years in the fall. Anyone interested—from high school students to those currently working on their dissertations—is invited to attend, regardless of DOG membership.

If you have any questions or suggestions regarding the Young Researchers’ Conferences, please feel free to send us a message. We also welcome new ideas and proposals.
