Workshops and Seminars

In addition to its annual conferences, the DOG also offers online seminars and in-person workshops on selected ornithological topics. These seminars and workshops take place during the months when there are no conferences and serve as another platform for professional exchange, continuing education, and networking.

News

The Leipzig workshop on the history of the DOG brought experts and members together to openly discuss the society's Nazi past. One thing is clear: coming to terms with the past is a joint process – and the discussion will continue visibly.

We warmly invite our members to contribute their own ideas and topic suggestions: The speakers themselves are responsible for the content, while the DOG handles the technical implementation and provides organizational support.

What does the DOG offer?

Who can offer a conference or online seminar?

DOG members are cordially invited to design and conduct their own seminars. The content is up to the presenters—there are no restrictions on topics or methods!
