Roland Prinzinger (1948 – 2026)
The Deutsche Ornithologische Gesellschaft mourns the loss of Roland Prinzinger. The former DOG President, who was awarded honorary membership at the Annual Convention in Erfurt in September 2025, died on 4 February 2026 at the age of 77. We will remember him as a scientific mentor and a formative figure of the DOG.
